- Consumption of drink, other than supplied by the Hotel, is not allowed. The Golden Lion Hotel does not operate a corkage system.
- We only provide bottled mineral water not tap water.
- We do not allow catering by others in any circumstances.
- The Company reserves the right to amend prices, if deemed necessary, for bookings taken in advance of three months. However, we will inform our customers if this should arise.
- In the unfortunate circumstance of having to cancel your confirmed booking at anytime prior to the event there will be a cancellation charge as detailed below:
3 weeks prior to date of reception 50% charge of total invoice
2 weeks prior to date of reception 70% charge of total invoice
1 week prior to date of reception 100% charge of total invoice

Cloakrooms are provided for the convenience of customers and guests; any goods deposited in the cloakrooms are deposited at the owners risk and without obligation on part of the Company.

The customer will be responsible for any damages caused to the Golden Lion Hotel, or furnishings, utensils or equipment therein by the wilful act or default of the customer or guests of the customer and shall pay to the company on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.

No displays can be fixed to walls, floors, or ceiling, this applies to the use of blu-tack.

The company accepts no responsibility for equipment used or supplied by the customer. The company advises the customer that if the equipment is of significant value the customer should take out suitable insurance.

The company accepts no responsibility for vehicles parked in our car park. If you require any parked spaces reserved please notify on making your initial booking.
